This Job Is so bad no one has confidentiality, not professional at all. Save your mental health and go somewhere else. so many people come and complain a lot and they don't do anything about it.

Donor Services Technician in Opelika, AL

it’s ok

the pay is decent for starting out as a phlebotomist. they do on the job training. They seem to have favorites and management doesn’t have their stuff in order.

Lab Assistant in Stone Mountain, GA

Don’t work here

Worst job ever to work for, very unprofessional and unorganized, terrible management, no room for promotions, etc. don’t waste your time applying here it’s not worth it!

Phlebotomist in Ocala, FL

Poorly managed

Your own Regional management doesn’t even have your back!!! Absolutely no support for the team that works there!!! Can never seem to answer any questions always delegates it to HR. The trainers and supervisors are great but always abused by management with long long hours. Get your experience and get out!!!!

How would you describe the pace of work at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers?

June 22, 2018

It is very fast paced some days and there are other days where work is very slow and you spend your time trying to recruit donors. I've been there for 3 years and I still am currently. I love my job, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. My training was quick and to the point. If you are a fast learner you will do just fine. If you are squeamish and don't do blood or vomit I would say this isnt the job for you. I dont know about other regions my by regions and the surrounding regions I've worked with have all been great. LifeSouth has really allowed me to show my true potential and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Interview Questions

Your view on the importance of safety or doing things safely. Why should we hire you.

Shared on December 24, 2020

I was told I would get an interview call at 11:30 last Monday. They didn’t call. No notice that they cancelled the interview. Absolute my unprofessional.

Shared on April 6, 2020

The question that stood out to me the most was why I wanted to work there. Its been awhile since my interview, but I don't recall them asking any questions that were hard to answer. And if this helps at all, interviews make me VERY nervous and I remember being very comfortable.
